Step 1: Retrieve Your Email Settings
Before configuring Outlook, you need your unique mail server details. You can find these inside your client control panel:
- Log in to your cPanel.
- Navigate to the Email Accounts section.
- Click Connect Devices next to your email address.
- Look for the Secure SSL/TLS Settings box.
Step 2: Add the Account to Outlook
- Open Microsoft Outlook on your computer.
- Click on File in the top-left corner, then click Add Account. (If you are using the New Outlook app, click the Gear Icon in the top right > Accounts > Add Account).
- Enter your full custom email address and click Advanced Options.
- Check the box for "Let me set up my account manually" and click Connect.
Step 3: Enter Server Protocols
- When prompted to choose your account type, select IMAP.
- Fill in the incoming and outgoing server details exactly as shown in your cPanel:
- Incoming Mail (IMAP) Server: mail.yourdomain.com (Replace with your actual mail server)
- Port: 993
- Encryption Method: SSL/TLS
- Outgoing Mail (SMTP) Server: mail.yourdomain.com
- Port: 465
- Encryption Method: SSL/TLS
- Click Next, enter your email account password, and click Connect.
Success! Outlook will test the connection and sync your folders. Your webmail inbox is now fully integrated.
