How to Set Up Webmail / Custom Email on Microsoft Outlook


Step 1: Retrieve Your Email Settings

Before configuring Outlook, you need your unique mail server details. You can find these inside your client control panel:

  1. Log in to your cPanel.
  2. Navigate to the Email Accounts section.
  3. Click Connect Devices next to your email address.
  4. Look for the Secure SSL/TLS Settings box.

Step 2: Add the Account to Outlook

  1. Open Microsoft Outlook on your computer.
  2. Click on File in the top-left corner, then click Add Account. (If you are using the New Outlook app, click the Gear Icon in the top right > Accounts > Add Account).
  3. Enter your full custom email address and click Advanced Options.
  4. Check the box for "Let me set up my account manually" and click Connect.

Step 3: Enter Server Protocols

  1. When prompted to choose your account type, select IMAP.
  2. Fill in the incoming and outgoing server details exactly as shown in your cPanel:
    • Incoming Mail (IMAP) Server: mail.yourdomain.com (Replace with your actual mail server)
    • Port: 993
    • Encryption Method: SSL/TLS
    • Outgoing Mail (SMTP) Server: mail.yourdomain.com
    • Port: 465
    • Encryption Method: SSL/TLS
  3. Click Next, enter your email account password, and click Connect.

Success! Outlook will test the connection and sync your folders. Your webmail inbox is now fully integrated.
