Please note that this article is for clients who only have domain registration with us, and no web hosting. If you have a web hosting plan with us, your DNS records should be modified via your cPanel by clicking the "Zone Editor" link inside your cPanel.
Our DNS Manager allows you to edit your DNS records, including A, MX, TXT, CNAME, NS, and PTR records.
In order for the DNS records you create in our DNS Manager to work, your nameservers must be set to ns1.brchost.ca and ns2.brchost.ca. Please see our knowledgebase article on how to update your nameservers.
To access our DNS Manager, from the Client Area top navigation bar, click on the "Domains" link and from the dropdown bar select "Manage DNS":
On the next page, click on "Add new zone" to add your domain to the DNS server.
Note that you will be prompted to specify a default IP address for the DNS Zone when you add it. This IP address should be provided by your service provider. If you don't know what IP address to specify, you can specify our default IP address of 51.161.116.53. This can be changed later at any time.
Choose your domain then confirm, On the next page, you can see the default DNS entries, and you can add more records by clicking on the empty field and then save.
